Moses Makes A Mistake

Chapel Time – February 24, 2021

Today we studies about Moses and how he did not obey God.  He had traveled so far with the Israelites complaining and fussing, and then one day, he lost his temper and yelled and was not thinking straight.  When we lose our temper, not thinking straight sometimes happens and we do things we should not do.

That is what happened to Moses.  He lost his cool, and instead of speaking to the rock as God has instructed him, he struck the rock twice with his rod.  The people got their fill of water, but Moses had a consequence that would affect his future.  He would not get to enter Cannan with the Israelites.  Yikes! All those years leading, and he does not get to go.

OBEDIENCE IS A BIG DEAL!!

The same is for us in this life.  One step of disobedience can affect our future and the future of others.  Wait, Trust, and Obey!!!
