Daily Chat with Your Kids – Wednesday, June 1st

Hey yall! School is almost out for many of you! Summer is here!

I hope that you will make the most of your time with your kiddos home this summer! Spend time playing and talking and just enjoying their presence.  Enjoy every minute.

Make the most of conversations with them.  Listen to their thoughts and their ideas, as crazy as some o them may be!!! Gotta love their imagination!!!

Here are some ideas for chatting with them today…….

• Read/review John 17:22-23 today.  I LOVE the book of John!
• Tell about a time you found it hard to love someone who you know is a Christian. Let your kids see you be real and share how it is sometimes a struggle.  I assure you, especially some of those older elementary and older, it will be a comfort that you have had the same struggles they have had with loving their friends!
• Ask Jesus to help you to love other Christians so the world will be able to see His love. My favorite phrase that heard a dear friend and pastor say once, “love them to Jesus”.  I am forever telling the kids that we should not just say we are a follower of Jesus – we should show that we are.  People should see a difference in us because of Jesus.  Encourage your kids in this same way.
