CC Students – Genesis 1 thru 11
Wednesday, February 17, 2021
What’s happening my friends?!?!?! Hey, if you were with us Wednesday, thanks for being there! If you were not, know that you were missed!! We hope to all be together again this Sunday at 9 am and Sunday 628!
Here is what we talked about this past Wednesday – as part of our reading thru the Bible together. This week, Sunday – Wednesday, we focused on Genesis chapters 1-11. Wednesday to Sunday new reading, chapters 12-26.
Chapters 1-11 we discussed Creation, The temptation and the fall (ugh), Cain and Abel, The Flood, God’s Covenant with Noah, and The Tower of Babel (yes, it was in Babylon!) Talk about a lot of info!! Wow, how can anyone say that the Bible is boring?!?!?! Right?!?!?! It is full of action. It is also full of a cycle that we see repeated over, and over, and over, all of which comes from our sin problem. Our disobedience to God. Do you see it as you read through these passages?
BUT GOD!
God knew about the sin problems before they started and He prepared to send someone to rescue us. To rescue the world.
JESUS!
Jesus came to help us and save us from our sins. Best. News. Ever!
So, dig into 1-11, or if you already did, dig into 12-26 so you can join us for conversations this Sunday/Wednesday. We are so excited about our journey through God’s Word Together!!
Here are some links to the videos we watched to go along with our discussions on Wednesday……
