cc students – genesis wrap up – intro to job

“As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.” Genesis 50:20

Last night (Wednesday, March 10th), we wrapped up our studies in Genesis.  What an amazing Book!!!! Here are some questions for reflection on those last few days of reading.

1 – Why did Jacob bless Ephraim and Manasseh? What significance does this show in their family line? 

2 – Does this make you recall another blessing that was given out of order according to the birth order? Do you think there is any symbolism in this? 

3 – Reading all the blessings of the sons, what do the blessings tell you about their character? 

4 – How do the brothers apologize to Joseph after Jacob’s death? What did that tell you about them? How was Joseph’s dream fulfilled, yet again, at the end of the book of Genesis?
