Happy Monday everyone! This week we will be working through our Advent lessons focused on “Peace”.

In today’s video, we covered Day 1 and Day 2, kicking off our devotion lessons on “Peace”

In Narnia today, we read how “Aslan is Nearer” and what that meant for Narnia.  Spring has arrived!!!

Here are some discussion points from our “A Family Guide to Narnia” by Christin Ditchfield:

1 – Edmund is beginning to see the real White Witch and he is beginning to see that she does not care about him at all and is very evil.  Psalm 5:9 – “Not a word from their mouth can be trusted; their heart is filled with destruction.  Their throat is an open grave; with their tongue, they speak deceit.”

2 – We see just how cruel the Witch can be when she abuses the reindeer!!!!! Poor reindeer!!! Proverbs 12:10 – “A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal, but the kindest acts of the wicked are cruel.”

3 – In this chapter we see Edmund care about someone other than himself for the first time.  He is really beginning to open his eyes! 1 John 4:7 “Let us love one another.” Other scriptures: Philippians 2:4 and Romans 12:15.
