INSIDE THE HOLY PLACE – THE LAMPSTAND AND THE ALTAR OF INCENSE

Today we read about how The Lampstand burned and could never go out.  The Priest had to keep the lamp’s oil-filled so that it would never go out.  This reminds us about what Jesus said in John 8:12,

“He who follows Me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life.” John 8:12

We learned that the incense on the Altar of Incense burns all the time so The Holy Place always smells of a sweet fragrance.

“Let my prayer be set before You God as incense.” Psalm 141:2
