The Golden Calf and Ten Commandments Review – Australia Geography Study
Today in Chapel Time we reviewed our lessons of The Ten Commandments and the golden calf by reading from a couple of different resources. We read from “The Children’s Illustrated Bible” by Selina Hastings and from “The Jesus Storybook Bible” by Sally Lloyd-Jones.
We also “traveled” to Australia in our imagination and studied the geography of this beautiful place from our “Little Passports” Classroom set. We learned about the Great Barrier Reef and Uluru. We also discussed the many species of sea life that live on the reef, as well as many animals found only in Australia such as kangaroos, koalas, and platypuses.
