trouble in the camp – new Zealand animals
Chapel Time – February 17, 2021
Today in Chapel Time we learned about the trouble that happened in the camp when Moses had to tell the people they could not enter into Canaan. Remember, God said they could not enter, but they all blamed Moses. God taught them a tough lesson when the ground opened up and swallowed some of the people. Then, to prove that God was in control, God had Moses take a rod from each tribe into the Tabernacle, and the one that budded would show who was chosen as leader. Aaron’s rod was full of almonds and buds the next day. Watch the video and read the scriptures yourself to learn all about how God was trying to show love to these people and some of them just would not repent and turn to Him.
Our story today came from Numbers 16 and 17. We used “Betty Lukens Through The Bible in Felt”.
We also had a devotion from “Indescribable” by Louie Giglio. Below is a link for the devotion if you want to order a copy of your own. This is a great book to have on hand!!
Memory Verse: Be not wise in your own eyes;fear the Lord, and turn away from evil. Proverbs 3:7
We also “traveled” to New Zealand today and we saw these animals on our trip! Check out some of God’s awesome creations native to New Zealand!!
See you Friday in Chapel! Hugs to you all!!!
