Good morning! I hope you are having a great week so far! 

Today in Chapel, we continued our talk about David and his frustration with Nabal because he did not give his men food.  But, then, Nabal’s wife decided to be the peacemaker. She decided to offer a gift to make peace and to help.  She also encouraged David to think about how his choices would affect his future as king.  

We should all consider the impact of our choices on our future.  Choices do not just affect us and not just the here and now.  Our choices affect all those around us and they affect our future, and possibly even the future of others.  Jesus tells us to be slow to speak and slow to anger and I think He wants us to think before we act.  Great lesson from this story in the Bible about David, Nabal, and “the peacemaker”.
