Discipleship at Home – October – “Love Your Neighbor”
Hi Parents!!! I hope that October is starting well for you!! I hope you all are adjusting to school and work schedules and the ever-changing roles of parenting that change daily so it seems. Hang in there!!!!
This month we will be using “love your neighbor” as our discipleship at home resource. I do hope you will use it to have real, truth-filled conversations with your kids.
This week, talk about what God really wants from us. What does He really want us to do? Why does He have us here? Good question!!!!!!
The focus verse for this week is:
Therefore, as God’s chosen ones, holy and dearly loved, put on compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience, bearing with one another and forgiving one another if anyone has a grievance against another. Just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you are also to forgive (Col. 3:12-13).
Enjoy your time talking with your kids. They may not always act like it, but they do want to hear from you and they do want you to hear them. Even when they don’t act like it!!!!
Have a great week! Your link is below:
