The older brother is angry because he has “done the right things” and doesn’t feel that the younger brother should be treated so kindly when he returns in all his brokenness.  See, God loves us even in all our brokenness and He can make good from it all.  Our kids spend time right now trying to figure out how to be “good enough” for what the world tells them they have to be.  Use this to help them understand they only need to be what God has made them to be.  And yes, He is enough.  His Grace Is Enough!!!
