Will YOU Pray?

Good Morning,

Sitting here this morning, reading some scriptures, figuring out the day, preparing my heart for what God has in store today, wondering how it will all unfold. It is The National Day of Prayer 2019. Prayer.

National Day of Prayer

I do wonder how many will pray for our nation today? How many will stop what they are doing, in the busy times of this like, and just pray? Pray for families, both your family and other families. Prayer for education. Prayer for our leaders. Prayer for a world that is so full of evil. Prayer for a world full of people destined to Hell because they refuse to listen and accept The Gospel. We have so many things we can pray about. Many things that we should pray about daily, not just today!

Our God tells us that He hears all prayers. Do you believe that He does? If so, will you consider spending some time today in prayer, just you and Him, asking Him for the healing of our nation, praising Him for being The Almighty God who we know can heal our land?

He hears our every single prayer. He answers our every prayer. Can you imagine? No, we cannot really, because our brains cannot begin to comprehend a God that can hear every single person, at once, praying; but our God can! He hears them all and He answers them all. Maybe not the way we imagined, but He does answer every single prayer. Wow. Just wow. Think about how frustrated you get, yes we all do, when everyone is throwing questions at you all at once. He Never Gets Frustrated From Hearing our Prayers! He desires them in fact!!

God Desires Our Prayers

So, if your prayer life has not been what it should have been lately, today is a great day to make that change. To be intentional about prayer. Find a prayer closet. If you need help with some prayer guides, please let me know. I will be glad to share. Email me and I can send you some. GOD DESIRES OUR PRAYERS – HE WANTS TO HEAR FROM US! So often, I hear people say, “well I just didn’t want to bother you, you are so busy”. Please do not assume that you know how busy someone is, please and especially do not try that as an excuse with praying to God. I will always stop what I am doing to listen by the way, always – and I am just a creation that God created and cannot even compare to our Maker! People are busy and people will hurt you (not even always on purpose), and people will sometimes betray you, BUT………. – GOD ALMIGHTY IS ALWAYS WAITING TO LISTEN! He is NEVER too busy, He will NEVER hurt you, and He will ALWAYS be there. Talk to Him. Seek Him. Trust Him. Wait to see how He answers. Praise Him for the answer.

So often, we pray for our needs. How often do we pray after the prayer is answered and thank Him and praise Him for the answer, no matter what it looked like? Talk to Him for all things, needs, and praises alike. He is waiting. There is no “right” way – just talk to Him. If He is truly our number one best friend, first in our lives, why should it be so difficult to talk to Him? How many people have you already spoken to this morning? Can you talk to Him the same way? Freely, just reach out to Him and talk to Him. He is there and He is waiting.

Call Upon the Lord

We need Him to heal our nation. Call upon Him today. Call upon Him every day going forward. He will still be there listening and ready to answer. You know how I mentioned how people often refer to my being busy and not wanting to “bother” me? Well please know none of you are ever a bother to me. But magnify that times more than you can imagine – God is never too busy. God doesn’t have things that turn His attention and distract Him from hearing you. God does not have to make you wait. He is always there and always ready. Please start a prayer life today if you do not have one already. It is not too late. Talk to your Maker. He knows you better than anyone and He desires to hear from you.
